South West self-proclaimed 'polite post-hardcore' four piece LastOneOut have announced the This Was Never My Story, It's Yours tour in support of their forthcoming mini-album of the same name (out November 4)! The band hope the seven track record will fill the humongous gap left by Welsh legends Funeral For A Friend.

Ice Nine Kills reveal supports for debut UK tour!

Boston's Ice Nine Kills have revealed they will be joined on their first UK tour by Sheffield's Shields and fellow Americans Affiance from Cleveland.

Ice Nine Kills – Every Trick in the Book

The whole album feels like a post-hardcore multi-musical (one that I would gladly go and see!). The dual-vocals entice the listener further into the story of each track. Lyrically, the tracks tell the dark side of famous stories including Dracula, Romeo & Juliet, Animal Farm and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Breathe in the Silence @Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff

Cardiff is the destination for tonight's gig which sees the Valley's favourite sons Breathe in the Silence headline a great bill to celebrate the release of their EP Hold My Heart.

A Day To Remember – Bad Vibrations

Overall this album is pretty fantastic and the band outdid themselves on this record. After listening to this you can hear the blood , sweat and tears and all the time and determination, the boys in A Day To Remember put into this album and in my opinion it is one of their best albums they have released yet and a great comeback for ADTR.

Beyond Recall, Altered Sky @ the Garage, Islington

The upstairs room of the Garage is the destination for tonight’s gig, the penultimate date on the Beyond Recall/Altered Sky tour

Say hello to Jack the Envious!

Playing in a band can be a full time job, but the origin of post-hardcore quintet Jack the Envious combined music and national service. In 2012, vocalist Nir Perlman and guitarists Guy Avnon and Shalev Grados formed the band in high school, later being joined by bassist Guy Chekarov during military service. Throughout the time period of their formation to 2014, the band juggled songwriting, relentless touring and military careers.

Breathe in the Silence announce September tour!

Following their successful stint as main support for Swedish rockers Normandie, Welsh post-hardcore quintet Breathe in the Silence are heading out on the road for thier own headline run in support of forthcoming EP Hold My Heart (out September 2, 2016 on Crooked Noise Records).

When We Were Wolves at Cathouse, Glasgow

Rounding the night off were When We Were Wolves, who are loud and heavy...and unashamedly so. They are a complete contrast to the opening band Armstrong. Mitch's voice was better in the dirty vocal than the clean but still had me entertained. They seem to be skating that thin ice between metal and post hardcore and I kind of like it.

The Brave – Epoch

A common theme throughout the album is a prominent drum beat. Lyrically all the tracks have their own space in time. A very old-school Bring Me the Horizon feel to the vocals. The tracks effortlessly flit from heavy to anthemic and back again, all in the space of single tracks. The guitar work throughout the 11 tracks is incredible and this is an album that the Australians should be very proud of!
