Death Spells album details!

You saw the cryptic message announcing the introduction of Death Spells and now you can get a taste of what it's all about. Debut album Nothing Above, Nothing Below is set for release via Vagrant Records on July 29. This record has been in the works for a long time, being record by Frank Iero and James Dewees between 2012 and 2016!

The Lounge Kittens release AC/DC cover video

Alt-harmony group The Lounge Kittens have caused ructions in the rock world with their briliant covers of some of the best tracks around. As we impatiently await the release of debut album Sequins & C-Bombs (it's out in September so we ONLY have another three months to wait.... Someone get us a time machine please? Thanks!), the lovely ladies have given us a treat with their tongue-in-cheek version of AC/DC's Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. The video sees the trio return to some office jobs as hitmen with a difference.

Suicide Squad compilation announced

One of 2016's most anticipated films, Marvel's Suicide Squad has not been short of hype and that is set to continue as the soundtrack to the film has been announced with some of the world's biggest names from pop, rock and hip-hop joining forces for a monster compilation.

Death Spells are alive!

Death Spells are alive. The duo consists of former My Chemical Romance men Frank Iero and James Dewees. The secretive project is set to hit you quick with an album coming in July and a small tour in August. Lucky Brits will get to see the two reunite on select dates in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham before the 'tour' hits Moscow and New York.

Kerrang! Awards winners

Thursday June 9 saw some of rock and metal's finest come together for the 2016 Kerrang! Awards. Hosted at the Troxy in London by The Darkness' Justin Hawkins and Skindred's Benji Webbe and saw the likes of No Devotion, Asking Alexandria, Creeper and more honoured before a first for the awards with a live show featuring two of the winners, Asking Alexandria and A Day to Remember picking up best British band and best international band respectively.
