Lizi Interviews Creeper

Lizi caught up with Will Gould, vocalist of goth-punk band Creeper during their headline show in Cardiff to get the low-down on their support slot with The Misfits, signing to Roadrunner Records and the inspiration behind new EP The Callous Hearts.

Ashestoangels/Farewell My Love @ Thekla, Bristol

So for this review, I went on a boat ride (after a train ride across the border to the lovely rainy city of Bristol). The first challenge for me would be to get over my fear of boats and open water and actually get on the boat which I did complete with only a minor freak-out. But all in the name of music and to celebrate (and commiserate) the end of the British Horror Story Tour.

More Than Most/The Afterparty @ O2 Islington

Today's ventures took me back to London to the O2Academy2 in Islington to see More Than Most headlining and filming their live music video for their next single.

Trash Boat and Blood Youth (Clwb Ifor Bach)

So it was off to Cardiff for me again to see the Welsh leg of the Trash Boat/Blood Youth joint headline tour. Last time I went to the downstairs room in Clwb Ifor Bach was for a intimate meet and greet and acoustic show with American pop-punkers Set It Off, with the main event being held in the larger room upstairs. So to see a proper gig in the small room without a stage was going to be a different experience.

2000 Trees Review – The Best Acts I Saw Over The Weekend

2000 Trees started off in a romantic way with the wedding of two fans who had met at the event 5 years ago and got engaged there last year and love was definitely in the air between the crowds and the bands with all bands getting a good reception during their sets. I’ve taken my pick of the best of the acts I saw over the weekend for a review.
