A Chat With Esprit D’Air

After a three year hiatus, J-rock band Esprit D’Air have made their comeback with their single, Guiding Light. There will also be a new album coming up this summer. I’ve had the opportunity to talk to Kai about the band’s comeback, single and upcoming album release. How did you find writing Guiding Light? Was it […]

All At Sea – Systemised

This Friday, All At Sea will be releasing their new EP, Systemised. Fan of Malevolence and Rage Against The Machine? This may be for you. The EP begins with Wake Work Repeat. Relatable title, and an even more relatable track, especially if you’re feeling a little pissed off with everyday life. This track is a […]

Black Lips – Satan’s graffiti or God’s art?

For the first time in three years, Black Lips will be releasing a new album, Satan’s graffiti or God’s art?, this Friday. Once again, I’ve been met with another subgenre that I wasn’t aware of named “flower punk”. It always gets my curiosities up though, so let’s begin. After a rather odd introduction track (Overture: […]

A Chat With Can’t Swim

Can’t Swim released their latest album Fail You Again earlier this month. I had the chance to ask Chris Loporto, the band’s founder, some quesions on the release and on the band in general.   1. What inspired you behind the music video for “We Won’t Sleep”? I wanted something that was relatable to a […]

COAST TO COAST – THE LENGTH OF A SMILE

Birmingham pop punk band Coast To Coast will soon be releasing their latest EP – The Length of a Smile. With influences from bands such as Real Friends and Modern Baseball, I was curious to hear this. The very first thing that stuck out to me on the first track (Ajax) was the vocals. The […]

THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS – PEACE IN CHAOS

Peace In Chaos is the newest EP from The Final Clause of Tacitus, due to be released on February 24th. It has a cool title, cool cover art, all that’s left is the music. The first track is 7 Years. Right away, this catchy track will get your head nodding. That, and it has a […]

PALISADES – PALISADES

On Friday 20th January, Palisades will be releasing their much anticipated self-titled album. Now, I couldn’t help but notice that “core” is used a lot in genres nowadays – hardcore, post-hardcore, crunkcore, metalcore, etc. One of Palisades genres is electronicore, which I must admit, isn’t a genre I was familiar with. However, taking a listen […]

SAVIOUR-LET ME LEAVE

I’m sure most of us can agree that 2016 has been a terrible year, for a lot of reasons. But, with this year soon coming to an end, many of us anticipate what 2017 will hold for us. There’s a couple of things to look forward to, and that includes Saviour’s brand new album Let […]
