New Jersey rock band Can’t Swim will be releasing their newest album, Fail You Again, on the 10th of March.

If you are curious to hear a bit of what this album has in store, there is a music video released for We Won’t Sleep. Both the music video and the track are very well done. An enjoyable music video is always one with a good story behind it. This one in particular looks at gender stereotypes and parental pressure. The track itself is also an enjoyable listen, with briliant vocals (especially with the harmonies in the chorus), instrumentals and lyrics.

$50,000,000 is also a track to listen to. While the verses are fast-paced and quick, the chorus slows down and creates a swaying-like sound. I also like how the lyrics “we are forever wanting more” correlates with the title, suggesting greed and selfishness.

Quitting takes more of a somber turn. It’s a lot softer and quieter than the last tracks, but still just as good. The guitar instrumentals are particularly impressive in this one. Also, it’s the perfect track to walk in the rain to, just to fit the mood.

Lastly, Kid is a great track because it’s lyrics follow a parent giving advice to their child. It tells us that while life can get too tough at times, it tells us it’s all worth fighting for. It’s a good pick yourself up song if you’re feeling low.

Fail You Again was an excellent listen and I enjoyed the tracks a lot. I look forward to the release of this album next week, and wish Can’t Swim the best for it.
