Firewind announce rescheduled UK tour dates

Greek melodic betallers Firewind have announced that they are hitting the studio to record their eight studio album and as a result have rescheduled their UK and European tour dates.

Kerrang! Awards winners

Thursday June 9 saw some of rock and metal's finest come together for the 2016 Kerrang! Awards. Hosted at the Troxy in London by The Darkness' Justin Hawkins and Skindred's Benji Webbe and saw the likes of No Devotion, Asking Alexandria, Creeper and more honoured before a first for the awards with a live show featuring two of the winners, Asking Alexandria and A Day to Remember picking up best British band and best international band respectively.

Upload Festival 2016

Before I start my review I would like to say that the UK needs more festivals like this one. It is rare that you will see such a great line up on a festival bill, especially one that has some of the best unsigned / DIY bands in the UK, so with anticipated excitement I took the long drive down to Wakefield for the first ever Upload Festival at Warehouse23.
