Everyone And Anyone, a UK Pop Punk band from North Wales are set to release their second instalment titled A Page From A Journal which features 4 gems. They waste minimal momentum in this record, fearlessly ripping throughout while providing melodies to hook you on and reel you in.
Kicking things off with an instant reminder of what’s expected from Punk Rocks finest artists, Yearbook builds with powerful upbeat drums and guitar tones ringing clearly through the mix. A catchy as hell chorus which immediately sticks in my head, even lyrically with the pop punk cliché of leaving and not coming back. Keeping things true to the nature of the genre, another killer track is bestowed on my ears titled Coffee & Contemplation an all out assault through a pacey verse before again, laying down an addictive sing-along chorus as you quickly pick up the melody with the lyrics “Think I need a little time to myself, coffee & contemplation” pin pointing the majority of the world as a common life scenario, if not alcohol instead of coffee.
Title track of the EP A Page From A Journal opens with a twiddly guitar line with an opportune time for live shows to encourage everyone to bounce, as all other instruments join in with a classic on spot jumping sound, additionally including the fierce pace they have proved in the previous tracks during the song. Better Days rounds things up after this short yet sweet EP comes to a close with another hasty and tasty jam, featuring another set of vocals, sounding more along the early Four Year Strong and a more grittier vocal style giving something new to the release.
They’ve done the DIY tour circuit, they’ve been witnessed live by Creeper and WASTR to name a couple, I believe there is many more feats & accomplishments that will compliment their band CV when this record drops 16th June.
