Slam Dunk 2016 Review – Part Two

So, as you have probably seen in our extensive review coverage of Slam Dunk 2016 (if not, you can go and read it here) then you'll know that there was a lot more that we left out of that article. The reason being, we didn't want it to go on forever and you lose interest. Also as there were several of us at different dates, we thought it would be a good idea to compare some of the artists performances, as we all have varying musical tastes, you can check out some of the acts below that multiple members of our team saw and what they thought!

Slam Dunk 2016 Review – Part One

Slam Dunk festival celebrated its tenth birthday this year with a monster party! With a diverse line-up including Panic! At the Disco, Of Mice & Men, Hellions, Blood Youth, As It Is, Yellowcard and many more, it was one not to be missed! Four writers (including myself at the Midlands) attended over the course of the weekend and give their views below!

Mallory Knox @ Slam Dunk South

Five-piece rock band Mallory Knox stood out to me so much at Slam Dunk South 2016. As this was the first time I've been to SD, it was a pretty big deal for me, including being surrounded by many of my favorite bands and artists.

Upload Festival 2016

Before I start my review I would like to say that the UK needs more festivals like this one. It is rare that you will see such a great line up on a festival bill, especially one that has some of the best unsigned / DIY bands in the UK, so with anticipated excitement I took the long drive down to Wakefield for the first ever Upload Festival at Warehouse23.

2000 Trees final line-up announcement

2000 Trees festival are celebrating their tenth birthday in style! The already incredible line-up has now been completed with the announcement of the final three bands and the acoustic stage.

Fort Fest announce second wave of bands!

Fort Fest is gearing up to make its mark with it's inaugural line-up. The festival takes place in Bedfordshire between September 2-4 with early bird tickets available now at just £55 including camping AND parking! Absolute bargain!

Valleys Soundfest 2016

Valleys Soundfest is an alternative music festival that is held by students on the Music Technology course at Coleg Y Cymoedd. Each year the festival benefits a chosen charity, the past couple of years it has been the charity Love Hope Strength Foundation UK. The festival showcases up and coming artists, both locally and nationally as well as college bands.

Five Heavier Acts You Should Definitely Watch At Slam Dunk 2016

Whilst, Panic! At The Disco and traditional Pop Punk bands get all of the attention, I have singled out five of the best heavier acts who I think you should definitely check out!
