Kent emo/alt-rock quartet The Young Hearts are releasing their new EP Honestly, I’m Just Thinking on September 29 through Primordial Records.

The mellow riffs and smooth vocals of Bloom open the EP and sets a bit of a pop-rock feel with the catchy chorus. Medicine follows the same path as its predecessor. Lead single Smoke is the best choice to represent the EP as it is the strongest. October rounds the EP off with very mellow instrumentation that builds up.

The EP is a pretty run-of-the-mill record in terms of tracks flowing from one to the next but it has multiple strengths including the vocals, the instrumentation is put together well and is something you can put on when you want to relax and listen to some good music.
