Brit alt-rockers Veridian have been getting some good press behind them lately so debut EP 40826D is one that we were intrigued to listen to. It’s out now so have a look at what we thought.

Headlights kicks the EP off and is catchy, with a prominent drum beat and good melody.  Vocally there are echoes of old school Fall Out Boy. Sleep A Little Better and Follow are arena suited anthems with massive choruses. So They Say closes the EP with a mellower yet punchy feel.

The overall EP is a really bold debut for the alt-rockers and fully backs up the positive press the band have received. Each track is huge with smooth vocals, massive choruses, pounding drum/bass combo and great guitar work. If the future of British alt-rock lies with this band, then we are in for a treat!
