Those Damn Crows – Inhale/Exhale

Inhale/Exhale, the new album from Those Damn Crows was recently released and it is fab!

Those Damn Crows aren’t easing you into Inhale/Exhale with opener Fill the Void kicking right off into a gritty rock ‘n’ roll track. It’s a great opener and song, with a great drum beat throughout.
Takedown is one of my favourite songs on the record. It has slick guitars, angsty lyrics, a fab Myles Kennedy-esque vocal delivery and is all around therapy for the ears.
Man on Fire is extremely catchy and a stadium anthem and Wake Up (Sleepwalker) is one of my favourite rock tracks of all time. It has everything I look for in a classic rock track.
Things slow down for This Time I’m Ready. It’s a slow, heartfelt track with minimal instrumentation which perfectly enhances the lyrical content and delivery. You can hear all the emotions being conveyed throughout. It picks up pace towards the end of the song before fading out with a mellow sound.
The halfway mark sees the record focusing on slightly slower, anthemic tracks such as I Am and See You Again.
Find A Way is definitely an anthem that will translate well on any stage.
Closing track I Can Tell is a melodic piece which rounds the album off well.
Inhale/Exhale can be described as one word – perfection. Every part of it is incredible. It’s sexy rock and roll and there’s not one remotely weak part of the album.
It’s definitely one I highly recommend anyone into rock should listen to and is an early contender for album of the year.
