Right from the get-go, you can tell this band aren’t messing about. They’ve been sitting on these tracks for a while, and clearly have spent time making sure they’re as good as can be. From the powerful and emotive vocals bellowing fantasy-filled lyrics to the outstanding musicianship, they’ve produced a strong EP.

The band formed over a shared want to create ‘full-throttled, heavy music’, but with a melodic twist to appeal to a wider audience. While their music isn’t the heaviest I’ve heard, they’ve done well to make this EP accessible to fans of a multitude of genres – the heartfelt ‘Everybody‘ can appeal to fans of a more classic-rock sound, ‘Fracture’ sounds post-hardcore, and ‘When I Turn Cold‘ has alt-rock vibes.

As I Take A Breath‘ is available from March 9th, and you can catch the band live at Download Festival this summer.
