Riviere are a French metal band who have recently released their new album. This is quite a well made album with good clean vocals, good instrumentals and pretty good vibes. Although it’s not very heavy or metal in my opinion, they still deliver a pretty well made record. Their first song on the album, New Cancer is a pretty damn good start to the record, although as you listen through the rest they, don’t really differentiate their songs from each other much and personally this didn’t give a whole lot of interest in the rest of their songs. If you are looking for some easy going metal then this is probably what you want. They don’t really have a very distinctive style and leave some of their intros going on for too long, but are still clearly a very well experienced or at least practiced band who do have very good instrumentals and seem to have a lot of promise for the future.
