It’s a record of the frustrations we all feel in a modern life and it brings those frustrations to the fore in a strong way.
Opener Be Like You has some funky instrumentation, which includes a nice guitar lick.
Left Behind focuses on the empty feeling of the stripping cities of character and the impact it has on creative communities. It was written in the wake of the closure of Brunswick Mill rehearsal space in Manchester. It’s angsty and slick.
The synths in If You’re Not Mine are quite funky but it’s the weakest song on the record for me.
If you’re a punk fan, this is one for you. I’m not really into punk but I quite enjoyed the record and it’s indie feel.
