South Wales/Oxford metalcore quartet Never Found are about to release their new EP The Human Condition. The band have garnered a strong fanbase since the release of their brilliant debut EP back in 2015.

Opening with the title track, we are greeted by a siren and spoken word introduction creating an atmosphere from the start.

Come To Me combines harmonies with screams before becoming a melodic track with more of an emphasis being brought on the lyrics by having minimal instrumentation. Favourite Mistake is catchy and an early favourite for the record. The screams are tight and the riffs are good. Halfway through we have more spoken word, this time in the form of a conversation between two people.

Overall, the EP doesn’t really grab my attention as much as their debut did but it’s still a good effort. Favourite Mistake is one of the stand-out tracks and the screams are tight throughout.
