What is better than a bit of hard rock? Hard rock with a didgeridoo and as Like A Storm show on their third album Catacombs, it gets better every time you listen! From the opening of The Devil Inside to the closing of Pure Evil, Catacombs is an eleven track treat for anyone with even an inkling of love for rock.

The programming and riffs combined with a ridiculously groovy chorus of The Devil Inside kicks the record off with a bang. Title track Catacombs is a huge, atmospheric piece. Solitary sees guitarist/vocalist Matt Brooks give brother Chris a break as he takes a turn on lead vocals to bring some soaring melodies. If you want some groove and a brilliant rhythm section, The Bitterness is the track for you. Bullet In The Head sees Like A Storm go heavier and the politically charged Pure Evil closes the record out with a huge tune.

This riffcentric record is absolutely incredible. It’s darker than their previous two efforts but is absolutely brilliant. Vocally, lyrically and instrumentally sound, Like A Storm have a winner and early contender for album of the year here.
