Courage My Love are a three-piece band from Kitchener, Ontario, who are making a place for themselves in the music scene. The band consists of twins Mercedes Arn-Horn and Phoenix Arn-Horn and Brandon Lockwood. They released their debut album Synesthesia on February 3rd. The cover art is certainly intriguing with a bit of mystery. Two unidentified females are being unraveled from their skin, an aqua blue “V” holding them against a black backdrop.
The album consists of 14 brilliant tracks that are the perfect mix of alternative and pop. Don’t allow the term pop to turn you off from the band though. “Love Hurts” is a wonderful track with great guitar riffs and keys that’s more alternative than anything. Classic lyrics about a broken heart, but the pain is felt through the singer’s tone intoxicating one to remember that love does hurt. “Drowning” and “Tough Love are among my favorites. The album is a great listen, full of passion and truly addicting.
Super excited to see what the future holds for Courage My Love. The trio are extremely talented! Synesthesia is available on iTunes now!
