Brit rockers Alter Eden release second EP Tigers and Lambs on February 17. The follow-up to 2015’s debut Fearless has been eagerly awaited and we got our hands on it to let you know what you can expect!

Opening track Tigers & Lambs has an on and off intro before kicking in. It’s a relatable track talking about experience versus innocence and how situations can take the fun out of life. There is a prominent drum beat and great instrumentals. The vocals remind me a bit of Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge which is a compliment in itself. Colourless kicks straight in with some riffs and has a shout-a-long chorus (because sing-a-long isn’t good enough for this, like seriously, you will be shouting it along).

Resent/Relent/Repeat (a different three ‘r’s than what you would have learnt at school) is a slower, mellower track. Closing song We’ve Had Enough has a great opening instrumental, which continues throughout.

All in all, this is a big EP from the Stoke hard rockers. Full of riffs and soaring vocals, there isn’t much to not like (apart from the length. Like seriously guys, can we have a never-ending album next please?)
