Surrey based pop punk band 2Far2Jump are releasing their debut EP First Attempts At Everything this Friday (5th May 2017). Influenced by bands like Blink 182 and Green Day this Surrey three piece have produced an EP fuelled with teenage angst and punchy choruses.
Opening with Set Your Goals, establishing their own sound to add to the growing UK pop punk scene. This song also had a music video released in April, featuring the band rocking out on a surprisingly sunny beach for Britain, which you can watch here:
In my opinion, singles Deepdene and Think For The New Days really showcase the unique sound 2Far2Jump have created for themselves; especially with the awesome, slightly rockier sounding guitar in the verses rather than just the stereotypical power chords like other pop-punk songs.
A Winner In A Loser’s Eyes rounds the album off brilliantly with captivating guitar, different to any I’ve heard by other artists in this genre, and ending the EP very fittingly with some awesome guitar solos.
