You could say that my love for you guys borders on the eternal. Twelve years ago, a small ten year old boy from a town you will never come to saw the video for American Idiot and became a changed child, who became a teen who became a man who has spent many years striving to look like Mr. Armstrong, albeit it roughly a foot and a bit taller and a lot less cool.
It is hard to put into words why my love runs so deep for you, but put it this way, I have fully forgiven you for Kill The DJ, which really did take every ounce of love I have within me. Does that not prove that my feelings are inhumanly strong for you?
I know that we will probably never meet, so I will just be content to gaze from afar, Nimrod spinning on my record player and a red tie around my neck, falling down onto a black shirt, American Idiot sleeve tattoo proudly displayed.
