June’s band of the month is Youth In Revolt! Here at AltCorner, we’ve been massive fans of the quintet for a few years now through the hiatus and line-up change. February 2017 saw the refreshed band release debut album The Broken via Outerloop Records to comparisons of what a heavier Sleeping With Sirens would be like!
We think their melodic post-hardcore is engaging, intriguing and they’re five of the nicest guys you could know!

Describe yourself in three words for people that don’t know you?
Heavyish pop rock
What was your first concert?
My concert was Silverstein, I loooved them!
If you could only listen to one album forever, what would it be?
On Letting Go by Circa Survive, that one is somehow a no brainer for me haha!
What is the best thing about being in a band?
For me, its the outlet for creativity and the feeling of playing live. I’m a really anxious person and those two things help me immensely!!
