Devildriver have solidified themselves in the Metal scene and known for their live shows (even more so for the magnitude of their famous circle pits). Over the week, their Facebook page has been a puzzle in which they have released 1/9 squares of artwork that ultimately unravelled the news of Outlaws ‘Til The End covers album.
With frontman Dez Fafara being a huge fan on the outlaw country music this was only inevitable that such a release would happen. Fafara had a vision of who he wanted featured on the record including Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe, 36 Crazyfists frontman Brock Lindow, Johnny Cash‘s son (Yes, you read correct!) and many more iconic features. “I knew right away that I wanted to have guests on this record, and the first guest I wanted was John Carter Cash,” Fafara recalls. “I didn’t want this thing to exist without John, without Hank3 or without Randy. Basically, there were a certain amount of guests that I definitely wanted on it, but as I kept asking people, everyone kept saying yes! Randy and Mark (Lamb Of God) are both from the country and they were immediately on board.”
Devildriver release Outlaws ‘Til The End via Napalm Records on July 6th.
