Portsmouth post-hardcore quintet Acres are gearing up for their forthcoming EP and UK run with Hellions with the release of new single Gloom! The track is taken from the EP In Sickness & Health which is set for release on February 24!
Vocalist Ben Lumber says that the track “covers the theme of lies and deception. It’s a song about coming to terms with someone you thought you knew who ends up changing for the worse. The lyrics convey one person’s realisation that the person they care for doesn’t feel the same way.”
