Milestones have had a whole host of brilliant opportunities since their formation and have become one of the UK’s fastest growing bands. Debut album Red Lights is released through Fearless Records on Friday.

The album itself is reminiscent of a mix between the likes of All Time Low and 5 Seconds Of Summer, full of catchy anthems with huge poppy hooks and crunchy punk instrumentation, ranging from punchy opener BitterSweetHeart, the earworms of Once Upon A Time and lead single Paranoid (seriously, I dare you to listen to this and not be still singing it two weeks later…) to the ballads Against The World which will give you goosebumps unless you have no heart, the track is the stand-out on the record for frontman Matt Clarke’s soaring vocals and Hold On. Liar gets angsty and the second half of the record sees deeper, more emotive lyrics in This Is My Life and the heart-breaking piano ballad Counting Cars that really hits home.

Red Lights is a record that will cement Milestones as one of the best in the UK alternative scene’s rising talents and has the power to attract fans from both the alternative and mainstream music scenes. This is definitely a band to watch!
