Formed in late 2014, Only Shadows have been described as one of the “UK’s most exciting rising bands” by BBC introducing. 2016 is set to be a big year of the guys who will release their debut EP in the spring. They have just recently released their single “Be Still” along with a music video for the track.
The track starts with a very gentle vocal followed by backing vocals, the drum beat is very catchy and instantly gets your foot tapping. The vocalists vocal range is insane! The melodic guitar riffs are extremely satisfying and gives me chills over my body, definitely a great sound. The music video for this track is a really pleasant watch as it is straight to the point yet something that you don’t want to take your eyes off of! All in all, I love this single. Having only listened to the the one song, right away I want to hear more from this band. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more songs and upcoming music from these guys!
