Pierce the Veil fans have been waiting a long time for the band to release a new album and finally got their wish earlier this year when Misadventures dropped. Each track on the record is arena worthy and built up the excitement ready for the Misadventures World tour, of which the UK leg kicked off in Cardiff tonight (November 25).

First up is Creeper. The sextet have blown up quickly over their short history and it isn’t hard to see why. Every time I see them, they never fail to impress, even when you think you’ve seen them at their best, they pull something else out of the bag! Vocally flawless and the crowd are eating out of the palm of their hands as they power through tracks including new single Suzanne and fan favourites like Black Mass and VCR.

Letlive are up next, including a cameo from Creeper keyboardist/vocalist Hannah Greenwood. There is also a lot of hype surrounding these guys and for my first time seeing them, I completely understand why. It is very easy to get lost in the music and the band’s stage presence is great through tracks including Banshee, Renegade 86’ and Muther.

Finally comes Pierce the Veil. For the UK leg of the tour, it seems they upgraded their show by entering in spacesuits with a space ship on stage! From the very start, there isn’t a moment where the crowd aren’t singing every word back to the band whether it was with older tracks like Caraphernalia and Bulls in the Bronx or new including The Divine Zero and Dive In, the latter for which, the band released a music video just two days ago. Probably the loudest song of the night though had to be King For A Day. The quartet are full of energy throughout the set and it’s clear to see that both they and the crowd feed off the energy the other gives. This is only the first night of tour too! Just imagine what the rest will be like!
