The band take influence from various genres including pop-punk, heavy rock and alternative to create a fusion of upbeat, energetic rock.

Opening track Cherry Pie kicks the album off with an almost My Chemical Romance and Moose Blood lyrical feel in a calming yet rousing track which shows off the vocal talents of Danneh and Mat heading into the aptly named Darkest Days a moody, downcast track with some big riffs. Forgive and Forget seems to be a track that will transfer well live and another that shows off the talented vocalists, a personal favourite on the release. What I’ve Done has a very hard rock melody with a prominent drum beat and big riffs. Relationships Suck (But She Didn’t) has a name that had me smirking and is a very angsty, upbeat feel that would again be a track that will transfer well live and has a Blink 182 feel to it, lyrically it’s a bit tongue-in-cheek in comparison to other tracks on the topic of broken relationships, providing a welcome relief from all the downbeat and dreary songs we are all too used to hearing. Closing track Words Can Be A Prison was not expected following the rest of the album, however it fits in well and is lyrically and vocally beautiful against the piano melody.

All-in-all a great album that has something for everyone. This young band are extremely talented and this release shows the talent in abundance.
