Opening track Loud lives up to it’s title! An onslaught of guitars and the harsh, scream vocals of frontman Dave Grunewald are contrasted well by the smooth, melodic cleans from guitarist/vocalist Christoph Wieczorek. The melodic, clean vocals at the beginning of Whats Wrong blend well into the harsh screams again. In contrast to the previous track, there are more clean vocals in this one and showcases how well the band can transition between the two.

Watch What’s Wrong below;

Smile features Northlane’s Marcus Bridge and the contrast between vocalists makes for a really good track! The breakdown towards the middle-eight is heavy. Photographs has an almost haunting feeling in the opening bars.

Throughout the record, the contrasting vocals really add a lot to the tracks. It is also easy to note the improvements in vocals from the band’s previous releases, both vocalists are on the top of their game. Throughout the record, the guitar work is great and there are strong basslines and heavy drums.
