Welsh indie-folk artist Vince James has revealed his new single The Man I Want To Be!
The track was released on Friday and has a lovely story behind it as Vince explains; “I wrote the song for my Grandad, it was to celebrate his 80th Birthday. I was listening to a lot of Jake Bugg’s first album at the time so was heavily influenced by that. The song tells a story about his time growing up as a young lad and how he came to meet his wife (my grandmother) and how they raised three amazing children. It also talks about all the fun and mischievous things us kids used to get up to when we were growing up around him. From then until now he’s always been ‘Vincent, our shining light’.”
