What is your favourite song you’ve written?
I don’t really have a favourite stand- alone song. I think the latest song you write is always your most favourite or it wouldn’t survive passed the predecessors.
What inspired the song?
I think everything inspires writing, mainly circumstance and what’s going on at the time but also the music you’re listening to, the movies you’re watching, the books you’re reading, even the conversations when buying a fucking coffee. If it makes you feel something, or shakes you out of mundanity, it’ll be used as kindling for writing eventually.
What is it about the track that makes it so special to you?
It’s different every time, with every song. It doesn’t really matter what it meant when it was written, it can change every time, and with every person. I like that it’s not a cure all with a designated place. It could be anything.
