What is your favourite song you’ve written?
I’d have to say personally, its a new and unheard song on the new EP, called “Maybe”.
What inspired the song?
The song is about never knowing how far away/how close you are to something important to you. It lyrically touches on the theme of distance. I wrote the majority of the lyrics in my head whilst we were on tour, far away from home, and the song really came alive when we decided to take it to the studio. Everything always sounds so different when you have a 6 songwriters having their own input!
What is it about the track that makes it so special to you?
“Maybe” is just a simple no bulls**t hard hitter. The song just belts in all guns blazing – and I love it. When we play this song live, it exerts so much energy and we all enjoy playing it.
