Revered punk-rock project Reggie and the Full Effect has announced, their forthcoming, 7th studio album, “41, will be released on 23rd February 2018 via Pure Noise Records.

Today, the act has partnered with Emo Night to debut the record’s first new track, “The Horrible Year,” on the group’s Facebook page. Fans are invited to pre-order the album now at http://smarturl.it/Reggie.

On The Horrible Year James Dewees says: “”Horrible Year” is a song about how even in the worst of times in a person’s life, you can always count on the ones you love to help you through them.”

Reggie and the Full Effect is the solo project of James Dewees, known as the keyboardist for influential pop-punk band The Get Up Kids. 2018 will mark the act’s 20th anniversary and the beginning of his moniker’s next chapter. “41” will be Dewees’ first release in 4 years, following 2013’s Pure Noise Record debut No Country For Old Musicians.

Hi I'm Gareth, A foolish Welshman that has found himself living in Scotland. I adore live music and this all started back in University when a friend dragged me along to my first gig and I saw Travis. From then on I spent a lot of time going to see bands from rubbish uni bands that had formed one drunken night to the mighty Blur. When I finished uni there was a 10 year gap between gigs (long story). Now though, on any given day of the week I can be found in the venues of Glasgow. With regards to my music taste I love anything with great lyrics and heavy drums. When I was younger (and still am) I was obsessed with a band called Alisha's Attic.
When not at a gig I will be found at my computer playing games like Prison Architect, Hearthstone and Wolfenstein.
