As West Country Progressive Metal Quartet Red Seas Fire gear up to release their last installment of their now three year spanning ‘Mise En Scène’ project, with the most devastating work of all ‘Resolution’, they have now unleashed the first single ‘Blood Bank’. Vocalist Robin Adams said of the track “Blood Bank is one of the clearer examples of the progression of the Mise en Scène series, it fuses the anger of our last EP ‘Confrontation’ with the heart of the first in the series ‘Exposition’ in order to take the listener to somewhere else entirely.”
Echoing the creation of this final EP, which was largely home-produced and recorded (with a little help from their friends, including notably Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood), the video has similarly been created in-house, as Adams explains: “Our guitarist Petey has for a long time been a big video nerd and has produced the vast majority of our online video content, and his girlfriend Nicky is a budding young film maker. Over the years they’ve collected some pretty nice equipment and together they came up with the idea for the video, directed, shot and edited the whole thing. The result is our best music video to date!” Watch ‘Blood Bank’ here:
