OPIA have revealed their debut single Ascend! The Milton Keynes quartet are no stranger to the scene, comprising of former Hacktivist producer/guitarist Timfy James, frontman Ben Marvin and current Heart Of A Coward bassist Vishal ‘V’ Khetia, who teamed up with local drummer Perry Smith.
Timfy describes the band’s music as “putting ingredients together using scraps of different genres to create something you didn’t know you wanted to hear”.
Ben adds of his return to the music scene; “It’s good to be back on the mic, tearing it up. Looking forward to showing the world what we’ve been creating. With OPIA, the music is everything I want it to be”.
V mentions of Ascend; “I don’t think you could put a genre to it, but I’d say it’s definitely heavy and very addictive”
