Credit: Andy Ford
N0trixx will release her debut album A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia on March 13, 2026.
She says of the album: “A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia is a journey into the depths of a troubled mind. I was halfway through writing the album when I realised that every track I was working on was a sonic representation of a certain mental health issue.
“Further into the album, I managed to create a unique collection of disorders in an audio form. It invites the listener to experience what it might be like to struggle with one of these but also stresses how important it is to take care of mental wellbeing.”

Jagged City will release debut EP There Are More of Us, Always on January 30, 2026, through Pelagic Records.
The duo, made of Defeater’s Jake Woodruff and former touring member of Explosions In The Sky, Carlos Torres, have created a record with raw and personal production.
Jake said: “We wrote with pure instinct, just tried to add something new to a genre that we love. As we traded ideas, we took some left turns and incorporated elements that may be unexpected.
“This record is a product of collaboration and love and creativity – we hope it inspires people to be connected and think collaboratively and creatively together. That’s the only way forward.”
Tracklist:

TX2 – End of Us

TX2 will release album End of Us on February 13, 2026, through Hopeless Records.
Evan Thomas, mastermind behind the alt-rock act, also released the lead single called The End of Us, which features Andy Biersack from Black Veil Brides.
Evan said of the single: “‘The End of Us’ is the darkest song I’ve ever written. It captures that feeling of spiraling that happens shortly after betrayal, when everything you’ve built slips away. I said ‘fuck it’ and wanted to make a 6 minute epic.
“Live strings captured the emotions perfectly. Then having Andy‘s voice brings a weight and intensity that was perfect for the emotion of the track – he played the perfect character and created cinematic chaos. This song is the lead single of our album ‘The End of Us’ and features our biggest music video yet. Cam and I directed the music video, and I think made a video that will live much longer than we expected. I hope this song finds its own meaning to the right person.”
Tracklist:
REJECT VAMPIRISM (interlude)
HOSTAGE (they will not erase us)
The Resistance
6 Shots Left
Singing Along
Lost Souls
Die Alone

The band said: “This record is the most unfiltered and uninhibited we’ve ever been.
“There are many things on this record that are irreproducible, sounds and methods that made each and every take totally unique. We made some risky choices, so now we have to own them.”

Coffee
Cicada
Tea Leaves

Varials – Where the Light Leaves

Varials will release new album Where the Light Leaves on February 27, 2026, through Fearless Records.
Sean Conder said: “‘Where The Light Leaves’ is the key introduction to the overall idea of the album itself.
“Through many emotions in my life, I found myself always feeling trapped within my mind, in a sense of purgatory and as if my mental state was a nightmare. The video and song are meant to elaborate, lyrically and visually, what it feels like being stuck there and unable to leave — eventually just accepting it and learning to live with it.”

Masca – Love Letters

Masca will release debut album Love Letters on April 3, 2026.
Vocalist/guitarist Christina Maynard said: “The writing process is one of my favourite parts of being in a band.
“We’ve got 1000’s of voice notes of little melody ideas and riffs that I force Jack to listen to on long car journeys. In hindsight, we had way too many ideas floating around at the start of this album and it was actually really difficult to organise them, a lot of these songs have been around in some form for years and have changed form a lot of times. It can be really stressful to feel like ideas you’ve had are being lost as you try and hold all the strings together and hone them into a coherent form. Ben is always really helpful in filtering ideas and bringing them to life as songs.
“Once we had the demos done we went to the basement studio at The Louisiana to record. We had a week and half there to get all the drums, guitars and bass done. I was in the first trimester and hadn’t told anyone I was pregnant yet. We’d found out while finishing the last couple of songs on the album, I remember feeling a little unwell while we were writing ‘Bones’ and taking the test. The result obviously stopped us in our tracks and it wasn’t the reaction I’d expected. Coming to the realisation that life was going to change whilst writing a song was strange. I can’t explain the feeling but I can take myself back there clear as day. It’s like you’re about to go down a water slide but are too scared to let go.
“The morning sickness really kicked in as we started to record the album. We hadn’t told anyone yet so navigating needing to throw up between rocking out was a different experience. I’m sure we’ll plan it better next time haha. We then built a vocal booth out of duvets and recorded the vocals at home. I felt at home because I was at home, and it meant that whenever I felt in the zone, and not sick, I could just step into the booth and get some vocals done. I put some fairy lights up inside that had a dying battery – they were so dim that I couldn’t tell they were even on until I’d been in there for 20 minutes. It was a safe haven for me and I’d definitely do it again and again.
“I’ve always recorded vocals in front of the band/producer but this time Jack and I just did it by ourselves. There’s a vulnerability that comes when you’re creative, and you’ve got to really learn that that’s okay when you’re creative with other people. Being in a band with Jack was a breath of fresh air because, as well as being married to him, I trust him implicitly. And so if I write something he doesn’t like, or do a take he thinks I could do better, I trust that it’s because it’s genuine and not competitive in any way. And going through this process with Jack has made me more comfortable with being vulnerable with other people.
“We also had the privilege of having the lead singers from 2 of my favourite bands right now, Sans Froid and Peach, sing on the album. They are absolute power houses who bring their unique style and energy to our songs. They came and smashed the vocals out in a day, also in my duvet den.
“We mixed the tracks with Elliott (Vaughan – Lucky Thief, Terrorvision, Sonic Boom Six) at his home studio and are incredibly grateful for his time and input. It is such a luxury to have the time to properly go into the details in the mix rather than just get a rough mix and send over a few notes over email.
“We really wanted to push ourselves with this album. It was quite an eye opener for me being on tour with IDLES (filling in for them on guitar in 2022) and I had to really improve my playing. Literally everything changed about my playing and performing through that tour. I got the confidence to experiment with different pedals and play with different sounds. I learned how to tremolo pick (thank you Lee) and they taught me that the most important thing is to have fun and not sweat the show/session.
“I really used to get inside my head about my guitar playing, and now I’m way more accepting of what my limitations are, and how they make me me. ‘Elevate’ and a couple other songs on the album are played on the telecaster I used on the tour, and that Lee gifted me at the end of it.”

Act My Age
Elevate

Oxytocin
Cry Baby
Sucker

Sweet Pill – Still There’s a Glow

Credit: Mitchell Wojcik
Sweet Pill will release new album Still There’s a Glow on March 13, 2026, through Hopeless Records.
Zayna Youssef explains the journey she went on before and during the writing of the album. She said: “I went through some depression last spring, and then I went into therapy. It was also a big turning point in my life as I was about to turn 30, while I’d written our first record when I was graduating from college–that’s a big change.
“I could’ve kept making bad choices because they’re easy, but I had to come clean to myself. Half the album was written before and the other half after, so the songs are kind of hard on myself but some are also hopeful, with a light at the end of the tunnel. You put out a fire, there’s still an ember that’s still glowing–that’s the record. It’s about being at a low and climbing out of it.”
Tracklist:
Sunblind
Shameless
No Control
Glow
Slow Burn
Smoke Screen
What the Devil Is Selling
Makes Me Sick
Rotten
Jinx
Tough Love
Holding On
Letting Go

Blush Puppy – Here You Dream

Blush Puppy will release their debut EP Here You Dream on March 27, 2026, through Venn Records.
“Each of us were struggling in different ways but with the same questions,” says drummer Harry Rogers about the band during the creation of the EP.
“These songs became a dream-space for us, a place to let go and breathe.”
The EP was written in Harry’s shed. “It was pretty much always freezing, as it is literally a shed with a few seats in,” he said. “But we made it work.”
“For us, music became the way out, the only way to take off the mask and breathe for a second. We’ve all been through difficult stuff, family fallouts, loss – we’re just trying to turn all the messy, complicated and overwhelming feelings into something positive.”
