New Records to Look Out For: Teasers for December 13

Welcome to the New Records Round Up, where we bring you the latest album and EP announcements.

In this week’s New Records to Look Out For feature, we bring you teasers for four recently announced albums.

Bury Tomorrow – Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience

Bury Tomorrow will release new album Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience on May 16, 2025.

“To haunt is to revisit or recur persistently to the consciousness of someone or something,”said guitarist, Kristan Dawson.

‘There’s beauty in that commitment somewhat. In a world full of distraction, discourse, instancy and demand, patience seems hard to attain. In patience there is peace, one thing society is short of.

“The title serves as a call of reflection, relying on the present moment, remembering what truly matters. I think the notion of patience being haunting is quite a contrast and that’s certainly reflective of the album musically.”

Youth In Revolt – Antisocial Disaster

Youth In Revolt will be releasing their new album Antisocial Disaster on Christmas Day (December 25, 2024)!

The record has been hugely anticipated since the band re-emerged from hiatus and released singles 925 and Onlyfanz. Both tracks show off the band’s new sound.

Kenny gave us an insight into the creation of the album. He said: “It’s basically about a bunch of experiences I’ve had throughout the years that I think many can relate to.

Writing and recording this album was a fast experience, but it was the mixing and mastering that took a very long time.

Emilio is an absolute beast at writing instrumentals so I took the lead and produced, engineered, mixed and mastered the whole record with Devon, Alex and Emilio voicing their concerns, ideas, notes, etc.

Alex tracked all of the guitars and bass and added some new parts as well, and Devon changed up some of the drums and we worked on the vocal lyrics and melodies together.

Since we’re an independent band, we didn’t have a budget to go to the studios we wanted to go to and work with the producers we had in mind, so we had to do everything in house at my studio.

It was so much trial and error trying to get this record up to par with everything that was coming out and relevant, and since I wasn’t an amazing mixing and mastering engineer it took forever and pushed me beyond any limit I thought I ever had.

In the end I think it came out amazing and with all the extra time I had with it I was able to really make it up to speed with huge budget albums and big time producers. I couldn’t have done it without the rest of the band listening to a million bounces of each song and going through every little detail of every song and telling me what they liked, disliked, etc.

Big shoutout to my great friend and business partner of my studio, Christjen Madafarri of Bridge Lights who helped me with harmonies, some lyrics, adlibs and melodies when I was absolutely stuck at a brick wall.

Also huge shoutout to my fiancée Ayla for being my assistant and engineering all of my vocals and giving me her honest feedback on takes and everything without being biased.
