Credit: Scott Kinkade

Horrendous will release new album Ontological Mysterium on August 18 through Season Of Mist!

The band said: “The album is our loveletter to the bombastic spirit of heavy metal music from the 80s and early 90s. Ontological Mysterium is an allegorical tale of creation, the formation of organic life, and the inadvertently and ironically destructive fate of unbound growth and uncontrollable reproduction. It represents the wild voracity of youth and inevitable transition into the gradual decay of aging in its various forms, fulfilling the unbroken circle of a biological existence.”

Izzy Mahoubi – How to Run

Izzy Mahoubi will release debut EP How to Run on July 21 through Rude Records.

Izzy said: “I wrote it as I explored my curiosity towards the world. Heartbreak, social standards, change, and pushing the limits. It’s an eclectic body of moments that I hope tells the story of growth. The feeling of walking into a childhood bedroom and seeing the old posters and letters that reveal the memories and healing that comes with time. The title track, “How To Run” is an expression of pushing the limits. The first time you realise your strength. The first time you start believing your voice has a space in the world. The first time you start to do the things that scare you. I believe that realisation reveals how to grow, and that confidence teaches you how to run.”
