Hyphen will release new EP Here to Stay on November 20.

He said of the EP: “Here To Stay is an EP about survival. My father surviving a car crash. Humans surviving political crisis. Immigrants surviving racism. Me surviving suicide. The world is undeniably dark. But there’s light everywhere. Human’s adaptability and resilience is unquestionable. I hope the EP is something people can hold onto when they feel hopeless.

“I hope it gives focus to the rage we feel at the parasitic richest among us who would burn the world instead of confronting the abyss within them. ‘I used to think I was a human experiencing the universe, now I think I’m the universe experiencing a human.’ We are all part of the same fabric, the music is a reminder of that. I hope you find comfort in it.”

Trivium – Crown in the Grave

Trivium will release new album Crown in the Grave on November 20 through Roadrunner Records.

“Crown In The Grave is our eleventh record, and when you get this far into a career, it’s easy to rest on what you’ve already done — or to reinvent yourself just for the sake of it,” says Paolo Gregoletto.

“With this record, we wanted to find the space between those two things: Take everything we’ve learned and everything that makes Trivium what it is, but present it in ways we hadn’t before.

“We also wanted the record to exist within its own world. That began with the title track, inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s Throne of Blood, and led us deeper into Japanese horror and cinema from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. That influence grew into this darker, ghostly atmosphere that became a set of guardrails for the music, lyrics, artwork, and overall identity of the record.

“We built our studio so we could give ourselves the time and space to figure out exactly what an eleventh Trivium record should be, and Crown In The Grave is the answer we arrived at. It honors where we’ve been without living in the past, and pushes into new territory without abandoning what makes us Trivium. I think when you hear it, it’ll somehow feel both new and like a return.

“Any band who has been around this long starts to ask: Where do we go from here?

“We decided to challenge ourselves to top everything we’ve done. We referenced a lot of ’90s albums. If you look at The Black Album by Metallica, Countdown To Extinction by Megadeth, or Superunknown by Soundgarden, the choruses are so important, and the songs are relatable. That’s what we strived for.”

Ankor will release new mini-album I See Red on November 20!

Vocalist Jessie Williams said:“‘I SEE RED is a journey through pain, power, sacrifice, betrayal, loss and obsession. Each song tells the story of someone who was shaped by the world around them and by the choices they made when everything they believed in began to fall apart.

“Some sought peace. Some sought power. Some sacrificed everything for the people they loved. Others let hatred consume what was left of them. But none of them were born monsters. The world made them.

“And sometimes, when pain becomes the only thing you know, becoming the monster is easier than becoming the victim.

“Six names. Six paths. One color. I See Red.”
