Gotcha covered there, too. And everything in between, as well. We worked our asses off on this record, and as a band and individuals, we’ve been through a lot during the process. We are stoked to release it into the wild and for people to find their own connections with these songs.”

Black Veil Brides – Vindicate

Black Veil Brides will release new album Vindicate on May 8 through Spinefarm.
“This record is rooted in the feelings of revenge and vindication. These are emotions that can either push us forward or hold us back. There’s a duality to them. They can fuel growth, drive ambition, and help us rise above what’s tried to break us, but they can also become destructive if we let them consume us,” explains frontman Andy Biersack.
“It’s for anyone who’s ever had their dreams doubted or their fire challenged by people who couldn’t see their vision. We’re all born with that spark. The world will try to take that away at times, but this record is about holding onto it, fighting back, and turning those struggles into something powerful.”

Civil Villains – A Sleeper, Underneath

Credit: James King
Civil Villains will release second album A Sleeper, Underneath, will be released on May 8 through Thundersnuff Records!
The album’s title comes from the line “A sleeper, underneath which my flower grows” – a nod to transcendentalist writer Henry David Thoreau’s classic book Walden, in which he describes the arrival of the railroad and each sleeper – “each wooden tie” – as a person being crushed or trapped under the weight of progress.
“I’ve always found that image really powerful,” explains vocalist James King.
“The idea that society pushes forward so quickly that people, and the natural world, often get crushed in the process. But I liked imagining something still managing to grow through all of that pressure—rising up, blooming, refusing to stay buried.”

Mattador will release new album III on June 19 through Frontiers Music s.r.l.
Carlos Benitez said: “We feel that we have a great album packed with amazing songs, from big ballads and acoustic compositions to rock anthems and so much more. It’s an evolution of the band and it has it all. The production is more on the organic side of things, when talking about the sound of the album. We didn’t want it to sound like other productions out there today, and we worked hard to find the right balance to make it sound powerful and current but different from what is considered standard nowadays; and we are pleased with the results.
“We focused more on the music we wrote for this one. The album was co/produced and mixed by Bob St John, who has worked with Bands like Collective Soul Extreme, Duran Duran, and many others. Newcomer to the band is our bass player and multi-instrumentalist Abraham Millett, who comes from working and touring as a member of Third Eye Blind and many others.
“I play drums, and I also produced the album, while on vocals is original singer Mike Villegas, and on guitar is original member Miguel Rodriguez. Collectively all of the original members have been involved in high-profile gigs/bands and working with international artists and world tours during the band’s hiatus and bring all of that experience and growth to the group’s creative process. With this lineup, we found the right balance that inspired us to make this new album.”

Brocarde said of the album: “Good Attendance At Sunday School is more than just an album, this is the storyboard to my life, the pain and heartache poured into it is immeasurable and I’ve struggled endless to let it go and move forward.
“To the outside world I may just be another self indulgent new artist with a record to sell but this record has saved me over and over again and I do not know what my life would be or where I would be without it. Over 10 years ago, I embarked on this crazy journey, in many ways I was a lost, broken child, a ball of angst and anxiety, in some ways I’m still that child, moments recently are all too real and I’ve found myself lost in a world of emotion. Over the years I’ve struggled with articulating who I am and what I feel, these songs have allowed me to do that.”
