Eels will release new album Cookie Happened on October 16 through E Works/Play It Again Sam.
E said: “All of this will be forgotten. Every joy, accomplishment and hardship will one day become so irrelevant it will be as if none of it occurred.
“But as the great philosopher of our times, Cookie Monster once said: ‘Me no cry because cookie is finished. Me smile because cookie happened.’ This will all be forgotten. But isn’t it still a beautiful thing that it happened?”

Scarlet Rebels – Flawed by Design

Scarlet Rebels will release new album Flawed by Design on November 13 through Earache Records.
Wayne said: “What we’ve produced feels like a natural follow-up to Where The Colours Meet. One record wouldn’t exist without the other. You can tell they’re related, but they each have their own personality. I genuinely feel these are the best songs we’ve ever recorded for one album.”

Danxgerous – Old Soul

The Snuts – Joy in Short Moments

The Snuts will release new album Joy in Short Moments on October 23 through Happy Artist Records alongside Virgin Music Group.
Jack Cochrane said: “After three records of constant motion, I felt pulled back towards real life. Success, failure, parenthood and loss all found their way into these songs. Joy in Short Moments is the sound of reconnecting with what matters and learning to find meaning in the small things whilst navigating the questions; Who am I? Where should I be? Where am I going? What makes it all worthwhile?”

Save Us – Death to Something

Credit: Alex Bemis
Save Us will release new album Death to Something on October 16 through Solid State.
It was produced by Landon Tewers.
“‘Death To Something’ was the last song we wrote with Landon, and it ended up giving the record its name. Lyrically, it was inspired by my newborn son,” says Owls.
“The message is simple but powerful: Sometimes there has to be a death to your old life in order to build a better one for the people you love. On this track, I dive into the struggles and hardships of my past, and how I had to finally cut the ties that kept weighing me down. It’s raw, personal, and honestly one of the most meaningful songs I’ve ever written.”

Twin Atlantic – Separation from the Animals

Credit: Steve Gullick
Twin Atlantic will release new album Separation from the Animals on October 2, through Dance To The Radio.
It is their most brutally honest album yet.
“I’m from a family that’s fairly divided, so I’ve always been passed about from when I was six-months-old. It’s all I’ve ever known,” Sam McTrusty says of his life’s trauma that seems to inform all of his songs in one way or another, and that he is opening up about for the first time.
“As you grow up, you start to view life through a different lens – especially the whole struggle of going from boy to man. My experience of that is particularly painful, emotional and confusing. But because it seemed normal at the time, it didn’t really hit me until I found my tribe, my people, my band. My entire adult life is meant to have been looking ahead but my personal life is always looking back. That baggage is basically what the whole band is about.
”This is what we’ve always been but with the veil lifted. I hope people hear the record and it inspires them to do that and be more honest with themselves.”
