Ignea will release new album Monumental on October 23 through Napalm Records.

Helle Bohdanova said: “Back in the 17th century, nostalgia was considered a deadly disease—and in many ways, it still is. It’s a universal feeling experienced by every human being, pulling us toward a past that felt gentler than it truly was, especially during the bitter moments of the present.

“Much of this album was inspired by modernist architecture — concrete giants built to signal progress and a brighter future, now slowly decaying. They’ve become a sort of memory box: Monuments to unrealized dreams, where the future that was once imagined never arrived, yet continues to echo through the ruins and bright mosaics.”

Ocean sleeper

Ocean Sleeper will release new album Peace When I’m Dead on August 21 through BMG Australia/Rise Records.

This band has never been afraid to dive into the darker parts of our lives, and this album is no exception,” says Karl Spiessl, lead vocalist.

At its core, the record explores the ongoing battle we have with ourselves — that constant inner struggle that can feel endless. It’s about coming to terms with the idea that this conflict may always be part of the human experience, and learning to accept that reality.”

Brian Fallon will release new album Not Bad For New Jersey on September 10 through his own Lesser Known Records.

The Gaslight Anthem frontman said: “From the beginning I knew I had to fully lean into the passion and lunacy of all these songs I felt inspired by – there wasn’t much room for subtlety.

“There was so much childlike joy in writing and recording all these songs. The whole album came together so naturally, with a level of creative fulfillment I hadn’t experienced in a very long time.

“‘Not Bad for New Jersey’ is my way of celebrating what I do and where I’m from.

“I wrote that song looking back on my life the way you do after almost ending up in a crash – like, ‘How did I make it through that?’ I really could’ve busted myself open somewhere along the way, but somehow I’m still here and I’m still in one piece.”
