Prostitute – Attempted Martyr

Prostitute will be celebrating the worldwide release of debut album Attempted Martyr on March 13 through Mute.
On the themes of the album, Moe said: “I had an identity crisis, growing up, 9/11 started a lot of xenophobia and Arab hatred and all that kind of shit. I hated being Arabic. I hated Arabs in general, just because people were hating me. Through much of my 20s I felt like, ‘How about I be the character you want me to be?’”
Andrew took that crisis and, Moe said he “ran with it, and made the philosophy behind it, this ‘radical terrorism’, this crazed zealot thing.”
“When we started the album, the war in Gaza hadn’t begun yet,” says Andrew. “But the world was still pretty fucked up. It already felt like the car was going off the cliff, with no-one at the wheel. There’s an angst to the album. I’m not religious, but I’ve always been drawn to art and stories about religion – this yearning for transcendence, for an answer, for forgiveness.
“The album is about someone trying to transcend in some way. This character is reprehensible. But we’re not trying to tell anyone what to think. This isn’t some manifesto – this is art, it’s an outlet for things we were feeling.”

Fighter V will release new album Deja Vu on April 10 through Frontiers Music SRL.
The band said: “Deja Vu” is our third album, after “Fighter” and “Heart Of The Young”. It was recorded, mixed and mastered in 2025 in the Swiss studio “Little Creek” by the engineer Pulver and produced by Emmo Acar. The vocals and production work happened externally.
“The vocal recordings and production were done by Ronny Lang aka “The Voicefinder” in his own studio in cooperation with Emmo. The keyboard was produced, played and recorded by Victor Olsson, with whom we already worked on the keys of the album before. Background vocals were done separately by Emmo, Victor, Tess and Ronny. Saxophone as well by Magnus Hägglund.
“The album contains a variety of styles, like the previous one, thanks to the cooperation with Dave Niederberger (ex vocalist of FV) and Roman and Emmo. Influenced by our idols from the 80‘s, we are paying tribute to the prime era of Melodic Hardrock/ AOR, which you can hear by the authenticity of our sound.
“The title “Deja Vu” is not only the title of the album but also the title of a song of it. This classic French quote portrays the events we see already coming but can’t be saved from them. They will repeat cause some things are written in stone”.
