Winterfylleth – The Unyielding Season

Credit: Aaron Scott
Winterfylleth will release new album The Unyielding Season on March 27. It is their first on Napalm Records.
The band said: “2026 marks a year of big changes for Winterfylleth! A new label, a new member, a new album, and the landmark of 20 years making music together. We are enthused by what this new chapter will bring, and as a result, we are now able to share our ninth album, The Unyielding Season, with the world. It is also a powerful and virulent first output, through which we seal our new collaboration with Napalm Records.
“In many ways, the new album is a reflection on – and a rebellion against – the turmoil’s and fears that are tearing the lives of many individuals apart. It is a cry against the unsustainable & constant weight of malevolence and pressure being pushed into the world by agents of an un-resting and unyielding force for evil. We hope the album resonates with you, stirs your soul, and gives you a source for hope. But, we also hope it makes you ask questions of your own circumstances and gives you pause to consider the unnerving state of the world we all share.”

The Maine – Joy Next Door

Credit: Lupe Bustos
The Maine will release new album Joy Next Door on April 10.
It’s the band’s first album in 10 years.
John O’Callaghan said: “I suppose it’s only fitting that our tenth album has been one of the toughest to make to date.
“Most of the personal friction I’ve felt during the making of this record has derived from having to face my own struggle with feeling like I have everything I could have ever dreamed of, yet I can’t seem to allow myself to be fully present and appreciate the weight of a very fortunate life. “Die To Fall” is a dialogue with myself about the desire to let go. Let go of my insecurities, my ego, my worries, let go of “me” for even just a second and truly feel the gravity of all the little moments we can often take for granted. If none of the above resonates, then at the very least, it’s a song to rage to.”
“Every album of ours has a color that represents it, and Joy Next Door is the green era. The green grass on the album art feels like it matches perfectly with the organic instrumentation and imperfections left intact on the album,” says Pat Kirch (drums).

Marmozets – Co.war.dice.

Marmozets will release new album Co.war.dice. on May 22. It is their first new album since 2018.
Becca Bottomley said: “CO.WAR.DICE. is an album reflecting on the state of our world and a vow to ourselves to leave this world in a better place. We may never make a huge impact, but we can only try. Like any story there’s a beginning middle and end and we’ve chosen for a happy ending.”

Norna and Legbiter have announced a joint EP called Norma x Legbiter. It will be released through Pelagic Records on March 20.
“Even though we sound very different sonically I think we all have a lot of common ground, not only in being parts of the 90’s scenes, but also musically in the somewhat dissonant and harsh guitar parts”, says Legbiter guitarist Rickard Nordström. “Personally, I love splits with bands that don’t sound exactly the same, but share some common traits and vibes.”
“Contrast is everything, we have always tried to flow between despair and beauty. Dynamics are important to us. This split will give you that contrast”, comments Norna guitarist and vocalist and former Breach vocalist Tomas Liljedahl.
“These songs pretty much reflect what we do musically and sonically right now. Create as much destruction with as little means as possible, raw and true”, says Lijedahl.
Tracklist:
Legbiter – Speedball
Norna – Eyes of God
Norna – Serpents of Gold

Agabas – Hard Anger – Deluxe Edition
