Children Of The Pope – Moonface Supreme
Children Of The Pope will release debut album Moonface Supreme on October 25 through Panache.
The band said: “We wanted to discard the unimportant.
“Songs about life and the living, and songs about death and the dead. Songs about God and the heavenly, songs about hell and the unholy. Sounds of youthful wonder and the melancholy of time. Love and hate and the opposites of the great untold, in extreme, melted together in a boundless pot of sweet surrealist molasses; the all, through the unmodified eye.”
The New Roses – Attracted to Danger
The New Roses will release new album Attracted to Danger on October 4 through Napalm Records.
The band said: “I think Attracted To Danger has everything a good rock & roll record needs. We tried to show the whole spectrum of rock & roll emotions. Good times, hard times, the traditional road vibe, a ballad and some harder riffs. So If you wanna have a rock & roll party this record is the soundtrack for it…”

Shelf Lives – No Idea
Shelf Lives will release new EP No Idea on October 23.
The band said: “Generally, we have no idea what we’re doing, what the point is, what’s going on at the time, what to call this EP so “No Idea” seemed fitting.
”We don’t feel alone, though. No one has a clue or any real control. We’ve been led to focus on finding and living an external purpose that should make us happy. We think we know what’s right for the world and what isn’t. We think we know what’s “cool” and what isn’t. We think we know what harmony is and how to achieve it.
”In reality, we’re too busy with surviving the dumpster fire that is our social system to know anything but, we always have hope and silver linings to keep us laughing, and we will. “No Idea” is a symbolic throwing in of the towel. If no one knows then “who cares?”. It can be seemingly intense at first but in the end, it’s liberating.”
Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts – Rogue to Redemption
Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts will release new album Rogue to Redemption on August 30 through Gypsy Rose Records.
“I want to do something that means something to people,” Tuk says, “because a lot of shit nowadays is so disposable and so plastic. I just don’t connect with that. I’d like to do things that impact people positively. It’s a weird time on the planet, so to have songs about hope, but not be cheesy about it, it’s something I think we need with songwriting. That’s the kind of music I want to hear.”
“I was dropped from a label, nobody would sign me” recalls Tuk, who wrote the album in solitude, mostly at a piano.
“No booking agent would touch me. I had to figure out how to make my own records. I’ve always worked with other mentors, writers and producers, so for me to make this myself was a big leap of faith, because… you know, you might screw it up!”
Tracklist:
End Of An Era
Still A Dreamer
Lost Boy
Down The Road
Rogue To Redemption
When The Party’s Over
Trash Boat – Heaven Can Wait
Trash Boat will release new album Heaven Can Wait on October 4.
Frontman Tobi Duncan said: “Life is pretty chaotic.
“The world is pretty chaotic. I’m pretty chaotic, and this album is every piece of me and us as a band.
“I think people had come to expect a very particular sound from Trash Boat, and Don’t You Feel Amazing? was us exploring different sides, influences and inspirations, and finding our true sound.
“Heaven Can Wait, which we collectively self-produced, is an extension of that journey of exploration. As a band, we don’t have a singular artistic direction. We’re a cloud of chaos.”
“I’m not trying to paint a pretty picture that is nice to look at or that’s easily digestible. I’m simply trying to paint an honest picture, and get as much of myself into these songs as possible. It’s direct. It’s unfiltered. It’s raw.”
Tracklist:
Watching Heaven…
Burn
Be Someone (feat. Eric Vanlerberghe of I Prevail)
filthy/RIGHTEOUS (feat. Kenta Koie of Crossfaith)
Are You Ready Now?

Torus – Torus
Torus will release their self-titled debut album on September 13 through MNRK/Inside Job.
“The sound of Torus is one that we aim to take simple, catchy hooks with good songwriting at their heart, and then make them heavy,” Alfie Glass explains.
“I think Torus is the best version and clearest realisation of that aim that we’ve ever achieved.”
Tracklist:
Avalanche
Into The Clear
When It Comes
All On Me
The Overload
Downfall
Crash Wave
This Feeling
Undercover
Gone
Back To Life
Speed Trial
Defences – Shadowlight
Defences will release their new album Shadowlight on November 8 through Long Branch Records.
The band said: “Shadowlight stems from a period of solitude and deep reflection, as we explore what it means to accept your inner darkness. Acknowledging, understanding and ultimately accepting it for what it is, learning how to sit with it or use it to change your outlook.
“The album sees all sides of this, tying in the parallel of the artistic process itself and what it is to create. To open yourself up to the possibility that you may not achieve what you believe in your core to be something you deserve, that you may not reach your potential. This cycle of disappointment and self sabotage is commonplace, with nothing left but to chase a sense of absolution and validation forever out of reach.”
Tracklist:
The Curse
Gold In The Dark
Perish
Ego(Maniac)
Silence & The Sound
Breathe It In
Inspirit
The Almost
Greatness
Shadowlight
Atreyu – The Pronoia Sessions
Atreyu will release The Pronoia Sessions on October 25.
The album is a reimagined greatest hits which the band said: “This album, to us, was something that initially came from the fans. During covid, we started toying around with doing acoustic performances for the first time in our career.
“Since the release of ‘Gone (Reimagined),’ the outpouring of love and interest from our fans was overwhelming. It got us thinking…what if we didn’t just make some of our classics acoustic, what if we took them to a whole new place? We feel with this album we have carved out a new home for these songs to stand on their own. They are new entities in our musical landscape.
“Making this album brought us such a sense of joy and creativity. It was as if the universe handed us this moment and it was meant to happen…hence, ‘The Pronoia Sessions’.”
