All Time Low – Everyone’s Talking

All Time Low will release new album Everyone’s Talking on October 17.

The Vintage Caravan – Portals

The Vintage Caravan will release new album Portals on September 26 through Napalm Records.
The Icelandic prog rockers said: “We proudly present our sixth studio album, Portals. It’s our most diverse, dynamic, experimental album and in our opinion, our best effort yet.
“Portals was recorded at Arda Recorders in Porto, Portugal in October 2024 with Axel ‘Flexi’ Árnason, with whom we worked on Voyage (2012), Arrival (2015) and the Monuments Tour (2023). This is the first time we recorded on tape and we are so happy with the results. We feel that this time we really managed to capture our live energy.
“The title of the album is a nod to the city of Porto and connecting the songs are a series of interludes which we call “Portals” that set the mood and bring you to the next track. We can’t wait for you to experience the journey that is Portals!”

Ray Hawthorne – Ray Hawthorne Isn’t Real

Credit: Hanna Middleton
Ray Hawthorne will release his second album Ray Hawthorne Isn’t Real on August 14.
Ray said: “Have you ever been so pissed off that you wrote a whole series of songs and then deleted most of them because they included too much personal information about the person you were pissed off at but then one of them was actually pretty fun so you released it? No? Just me? Cool.
“Well. That’s my story. Listen to it if you want a first hand perspective on feeling like you’re getting back at someone but in all actuality you’re just pretending you’re both still cool with each other for some reason. Or just like… turn your brain off and have fun because I say the F word a lot in the chorus.”

Igorrr – Amen

Igorrr will release new album Amen on September 19 through Blade!
Gautier Serre said: “This album is definitely darker than its predecessors, it has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in Igorrr.
“The fact that I recorded a real choir in a church helped this a lot, but above all there has been very long and meticulous work on the sound and the choice of instruments, and deep experimental research to create a unique sound design.
“Of course, because it’s an Igorrr album, there are some more colorful tracks, like ‘Blastbeat Falafel,’ ‘ADHD…’ They contrast very much with the ambient heaviness. I need tracks like these on an album, it helps to really get through it fully focused, like a shot of limoncello before the next meal.”
“It’s always difficult for me to know from where the inspiration comes.
“Music is an expression of life, and I would say everything, even what seems the most insignificant thing, can be a source of inspiration. I would say there hasn’t been one event or one experience that has lead me on a creative process, it’s more like a cumulation of everything. I love making music, my brain processes music all the time.
“You cannot imagine the amount of albums and concertos I create during my sleep. The challenge is more how to sort these ideas to keep the ones with the best potential, the ones that I won’t get bored of, the ones that I really Love — with a big letter L.”

The band said: “This album is about the games we are all constantly playing to try and make the most of our lives.
“These moments that are both playful and stressful, the wins and losses always collapsing into each other so quickly that it all starts to feel like one long river ride. Somehow RIPE is lucky enough to have built an entire world out of a group of friends making noise in a basement, and ‘Play the Game’ is RIPE shooting from the basement to the stars, hoping to be its own footnote in the lineage of all our favorite bands.”

Credit: Rachel Dwyer
