High Parasite will release debut album Forever We Burn on September 27 through Candlelight/Spinefarm.

Aaron Stainthorpe said: “This is not a side project. It’s a new touring and recording band, and with Forever We Burn, our debut studio album, we’re showing our love for all things gothic and grand, along with a collective belief that dark music doesn’t have to be confined to the shadows.”

Tracklist:

Forever We Burn
My Syndrome
Grave Intentions
Wasn’t Human
Concentric Nightmares
Hate Springs Eternal
Parasite
Let It Fail

Wind Rose – Trollslayer

Wind Rose will release new album Trollslayer on October 4 through Napalm Records.

The band said: “We spent more than two years working on Trollslayer, a new dwarf metal opera that will entertain you with fast riffs, beer and fun. With Trollslayer we didn’t only keep all the key elements of dwarf metal, we also brought back the fast-paced rhythms typical of our previous albums.

“Both Wintersaga and Warfront have had a great impact on our fans, even if they have many differences in style. With Trollslayer we unified all the best features of both albums and we are delivering what we believe is the best dwarf metal experience so far.

“We can’t wait to play some of these new songs live for you, are you ready?!”

Tracklist:

Of Ice and Blood
Dance of the Axes
The Great Feast Underground
Rock and Stone
To Be a Dwarf

Hauspoints – Eel Feeling

Hauspoints will release debut album Eel Feeling on September 21 through Crackedankles.

“Overall, the album’s loose concept is based on my car radio, which has a Bluetooth/FM transmitter to avoid commercial or mainstream analog radio stations,” says frontman Palmo.

“I don’t necessarily feel all that strongly about them, I just spend too much time in my car to not have something worthwhile to wrap my ears around. Because of the poor quality of the transmitter, random interference would regularly interrupt whatever I was listening to, hence the sporadic bursts of noise throughout the album.”

“The perspective lyrically has always been written through a Northern lens of bemusement at the absurdity of modern human existence, and not without a sense of wry humour. Not that I’m expecting anyone else to get the joke, I’m just trying to keep myself entertained.”

A Killer’s Confession – Victim 1

A Killer’s Confession will release new album Victim 1 on September 13 through MNRK Heavy.

Waylon Reavis said: Victim 1 might possibly be my favorite album I’ve ever been a part of. AKC stepped completely out of the box to write Victim 1. I brought in new producers [Dusty Boles and Evan McKeever] to help rebrand the sound of the band. I took most of last year off and did not tour in order to write this album.

“The focus I found during this time really helped me flesh out the new sound and the direction in which I wanted to go. Personally, I feel that this is the true sound of A Killer’s Confession, and in my honest opinion, I feel like this is the first true AKC album. Every time I listen to the album, I sit back and smile, because I’ve never had that feeling before with AKC. The tone and atmosphere is completely different from anything we’ve ever done.”
