Self Deception will release new album One of Us on May 15. It is their debut album through Napalm Records.

The band said: “One Of Us is our new album, inspired by life on the road and the energy of the live stage. Touring so much has put us in a kind of ‘live bubble’, and that feeling runs through the songwriting.

“The album revolves around outsidership and the desire to belong. On tour, we meet many lost and lonely people, all seeking a few hours of escape where they can disappear into a rock show. With One Of Us, we want everyone to feel part of something bigger, to feel like one of us.”

Midge ure

Midge Ure will be releasing new album A Man of Two Worlds on May 8.

It is a double album that includes a collection of instrumentals and songs and is his first new material in 12 years.

Midge said: “Almost every album I’ve made over the past 40+ years has featured at least one instrumental track. For this album I wanted to explore that further, showing two sides of what I do. The Man Of Two Worlds Tour reflects this idea, combining instrumentals I’ve written over the years with songs, album tracks and fan favourites side by side, taking the audience on a journey.”

Super Sometimes – Show the World What’s Underneath

Super sometimes

Super Sometimes will release new album Show the World What’s Underneath on May 15 through Pure Noise Records.

On lead single Afterthought, the band said: “’Afterthought held its hand up as the clear opener to the album as soon as it was written.

“From the beautifully melancholic verse to the finger-point–inducing chorus, the song is haunting and riddled with passion in both its lyrics and vocal delivery, intended to convey the intense feeling of longing and desperation for someone who treats you as nothing more than an “afterthought.”

One the album, the band said: “’Show the World What’s Underneath” is us staking our flag in the ground as one of the torchbearers of pop-punk,” the band continues. “There’s a little bit of something for everybody, and our take on the genre will definitely be a breath of fresh air for those who have been looking for something a little different in the scene. We hope it inspires more people to fall in love with pop-punk the same way we did growing up.”

Hanry- What Came From Silence

Hanry will release debut album What Came From Silence on May 29 through Pelagic Records.

The French post-rockers said: “’Aurora’ is our first single from the album and the spark that ignited the band’s story.

“Originally composed around ten years ago by Anthony Leliard, the track was later reshaped and arranged collectively for our debut album What Came From Silence. Dark and tense, ‘Aurora’ moves through contrasting periods, from heavy, shadowed moments to brighter, more radiant passages. The piece builds and recedes in hypnotic waves before culminating in a massive, liberating explosion that carries the listener toward new horizons.

“Since the beginning of HANRY, cinematic imagery has been at the core of our artistic vision,” the band say. “We often compose from mental images, landscapes or scenes that could almost belong to a film. We wanted the album to feel like a continuous experience, something listeners can fully immerse themselves in and interpret in their own way.”

On the artwork, the band said: “It’s balanced between restraint and release. The cover evokes a presence that gradually emerges , something calm, dense, almost motionless, that eventually becomes vast and luminous. It seeks to capture that moment when silence begins to crack. Within a grainy, incandescent landscape, an immobile silhouette slowly fractures, allowing light to emerge.”

Spread Eagle will release new album The Brutal Divine on June 12 through Frontiers Music SRL.

The band described the new record as “an emotionally and musically heavy body of songs showcasing a unique command of power, dynamics and melody. We have harnessed the energy of years of non-stop touring and turned it into a metal/punk thrill ride of an album.

“Lyrically, “The Brutal Divine” challenges us to question our views and ask if we’re truly as free thinking as we may believe. Once that question is posed, the album progresses towards uplifting messages of hope and community.”
