How would you describe your taste in music?
Blues tinged rock and roll.
Who do you consider to be your favourite band and why?
I love the Rolling Stones because there is so much spontaneous energy in their music.
Who is the best live band you’ve ever seen?
The Rolling Stones & AC/DC.
What is the one song that you could listen to forever?
Right now it’s ‘Your Love’ by The Outfield, ‘Africa’ by Toto & ‘Down Under’ by Men Without Hats.
What album, if any, was a turning point in your ‘musical life’ and why?
I suppose it was ‘Exile on Main Street’ by the Stones. It was a double album & there was so much musical variety & content there; it was a great learning tool.
In 3 words, what makes a good album or song?
Cohesiveness & continuity.
A festival or a gig? Why?
To be honest, either are fine.
Who would be your dream 3 festival headliners?
The Stones, AC/DC & Paul McCartney
Who are the best new band you’ve discovered lately that everyone should know about?
To be honest, I haven’t discovered any new bands lately. I’m stuck between the 1930s-90s.
What band or artist is your secret, or not so secret, guilty pleasure?
There is no guilty pleasure; if I like them, I like them.
