It’s time to get to know Max from The Bottom Line! We set Max 10 questions on his musical likes, taste and guilty pleasures…

How would you describe your taste in music?

This varies for the band but there’s a big variety. From Blink to A Day To Remember to Beartooth & even a touch of Bieber Fever, you should always have an open mind about music otherwise how will you be able to make something fresh?

Who do you consider to be your favourite band and why?

I’d say at the moment Beartooth & The Gospel Youth are my main playlist tunes. Matt would probably say Blink 182, Tom either A Day To Remember & Callum is really into All Time Low, as well as the old school Pop Punk vibes.

Who is the best live band you’ve ever seen?

Personally Enter Shikari. Their live show and stage presence is incredible.

What is the one song that you could listen to forever?

A song I never get bored of is Right Back At It Again by A Day To Remember… But there’s quite a few.

What album, if any, was a turning point in your ‘musical life’ and why?

For all of us I think Enema of the State & Take Off Your Pants and Jacket were big albums in our musical life. Hours by Funeral For A Friend was a big game changer for Tom!

In 3 words, what makes a good album or song?

A HUGE hook

A festival or a gig? Why?

We haven’t played enough big festivals to make a fair comparison, but any festival or venue to play a show to a bunch of people is dope.

Who would be your 3 dream festival headliners?

That’s a tough one… It would be a pretty messed up festival but I’d say Ed Sheeran, Green Day & Foo Fighters

Who are the best new band you’ve discovered lately that everyone should know about?

The Gospel Youth. They are currently doing Warped Tour. They’ve just dropped an incredible new album AND they are super handsome.

What band or artist is your secret, or not so secret, guilty pleasure?

Ed Sheeran. It’s very public.
