Rock, blues duo Me And That Man are set for a busy March with the release of their debut album as well as their first UK show.
A meeting of creative minds, Nergal (frontman of Behemoth) and British/Polish rock musician John Porter have joined forces to create something natural and artistic, with a hint of defiance and darkness thrown in.
Nergal, explains, “With ME AND THAT MAN, the songs just come out in a very organic way. One would be bluesy, one would be more of a ballad, but put together they all made sense. I need Me & That Man to keep the balance, as the potential of my mother band seems limitless. It gets bigger and bigger, more advanced and more sophisticated… and darker …and blacker. But Me & That Man is at the opposite pole, artistically speaking.”
Their debut album, Songs of Love and Death, is set for release on 24th March and feature artwork from Radio One Rock Show host, Daniel P Carter. A matter of days later, on 26th March, they will be heading to London’s Jazz Cafe for their first ever UK live show. Tickets are available now here.
